DEBBIE SCADUTO SUPER FAN SCHOLARSHIP AWARD
The Color of Sound and the All You Got Tour, Young Performers Club and Next Generation Concerts, have joined together to create a special scholarship, the Debbie Scaduto Super Fan Scholarship, to be awarded at the Boston Youth Music and Arts Festival taking place in Haverhill, MA on September 10, 2017. The award will be based on talent, peer support, community commitment and passion for music career advancement. This will be a combined award of cash and industry supportive services.
Debbie Scaduto passed away in February 2017 from a year battle with stage 4 lung cancer. As Patty Duffey, co-founder of the All You Got Tour and owner of the Young Performers Club stated, she was the loudest cheerleader at the showcases providing encouragement to all young performers. Her fundraising event her speech said it all, “I live my dreams through all of your dreams and I will be here to watch you all live your’s." She made Patty believe in her dreams to create the Young Performers Club, and it was through her encouragement and support that it came into existence. As Patty says, we will remember her kind and gentle spirit every time we step on stage, and we know she is humming and moonwalking along with us at each and every performance. She was a true blessing to everyone who knew her, and her earth shaking laugh will forever be with us. The young performer community has lost their biggest and most loyal fan.
